New 3M adhesives brochure: The strength of two parts Structural Adhesives in a user-friendly work cycle

3M™ Scotch–Weld™ EPX™ Two- Component structural adhesives and applicator guns

A new informational brochure from 3M offers a comprehensive overview of all 3M Scotch-Weld two-part adhesives and their application method.

Already at room temperature the described products achieve structural bond strength – including on low-energy plastic surfaces such as polyethylene (PE) or polypropylene (PP). Modern bonding technology is increasingly required for their assembly.

A detailed explanation of the application possibilities of the full range of currently commercially available adhesives based on epoxy resin, polyurethane or acrylate is followed by a list of the most important data to be taken into account during processing. This includes information on open time or temperature-use area, but also on peel strength and shear strength.

A short photo series demonstrates how easily two-part construction adhesives can be dosed, mixed and applied in just a single work cycle with the 3M EPX processing system.

The full-colour, six-page presentation in DIN A4 format concludes with practical comparisons, for example on shears strength and peel strength or viscosity and processing time, and a brief adhesive lexicon.
