76604 acetone-resistant label material from 3M
Long-life label legibility
Label inscriptions tend to fade fast in environments where acetone, methylethylketone or other solvents are used. The new acetone-resistant 76604 label material from 3M brings lasting label legibility even under repeated contact with these kinds of solvents.
3M’s 76604 label material makes an ideal labelling solution for tough environments. When printed using the new Ricoh B110CU ink ribbon, labels made from 76604 material resist attack from very aggressive chemical products, to ensure long-life legibility of information and barcodes on any kind of product likely to come in contact with chemical solvents. The new 76604 product is a matt white self-adhesive polyester Performance Label Material with a special print receptive coating which prints well with the unique Ricoh B110CU ribbon to give high durability thermal transfer images. A thick universal adhesive ensures optimum adhesion to all kinds of substrate (high and low surface energy, rough surfaces, thermolacquered finishes, powder coatings etc.). The 76604 product uses a white glassine liner for easy conversion and automatic dispensing
For many years now, 3M materials have been providing clear, safe labelling solutions in a wide range of applications including frozen foods, security, high-tech products and general-purpose usage. This new acetone-resistant label material sets new standards in high durability labelling and greatly reduces the need for overlaminating to protect thermal transfer printed barcodes and variable information.
