„In den ersten neun Monaten hat Clariant durch ein ausgewogenes, wachstumsorientiertes Portfolio in einem sich verschlechternden weltwirtschaftlichen Umfeld ein besseres Wachstum erzielt als der Markt insgesamt“, so CEO Hariolf Kottmann. „Die Volumina waren hoch und die Preise stabil, wobei sich die Branchen, Endmärkte und Regionen uneinheitlich entwickelt haben. Obwohl wir davon ausgehen, dass diese Herausforderungen im vierten Quartal fortbestehen werden, sind wir zuversichtlich, dass wir unsere Ziele für 2014, darunter eine beträchtliche Cashflow-Generierung in den verbleibenden Monaten des Jahres, erreichen werden.“

DSM polymerization plant to be built in Augusta (GA)
Royal DSM, the global Life Sciences and Materials Sciences company, today announces that its new polymerization plant will be built in Augusta, GA. The investment was accounted earlier this year and now a location has been confirmed. The plant, which will become part of DSM's Engineering Plastics business group, will manufacture high viscous Akulon® polyamide 6 polymer for film grades used in flexible food packaging and other segments.
