SABIC debuts first FR PBT nano molding material with good bonding & mechanical performance
SABIC, a global leader in the chemical industry, introduced today the latest addition to its LNP™ THERMOTUF™ family of specialty compounds. New LNP THERMOTUF WF0087N compound is the industry’s first nano molding technology (NMT) material based on polybutylene terephthalate (PBT) that combines excellent flame retardancy (FR) and good mechanical performance. It addresses growing demand across the consumer electronics industry for lightweight and durable metal-plastic hybrid components, such as those used in the middle frame of smartphones. In addition, the material’s FR properties can help customers comply with the fourth edition of the IEC 62368-1 safety standard for consumer electronics devices. KRAIBURG TPE pone forti accenti nello sviluppo di nuove mescole per il contatto con gli alimenti e la protezione antincendio
Subito dopo la sua fondazione, nel 1952, la “K” si è affermata come fiera leader a livello mondiale per la produzione e la lavorazione di materie plastiche e gomma. L'ampio ciclo triennale in cui si svolge da allora garantisce un'altissima densità di informazioni e innovazioni all'interno dell'esposizione complessiva. Le aspettative sono altrettanto elevate quando, nella seconda settimana di ottobre del 2025, Düsseldorf ospiterà circa 180.000 visitatori della fiera in “febbre da K”! KRAIBURG TPE si sta preparando già da diversi mesi. 150 metri quadrati dei circa 175.000 metri quadrati di spazio espositivo saranno nuovamente riservati al produttore di TPE di Waldkraiburg nella rinomata “Gummistraße” (con posizione dello stand “Hall 6, stand #C58-03”).
