Strategic Cooperation, Market Sharing, Trade Complementation China-U.S. Plastics Industry Summit 2008 coming soon

(March 10, 2008, Shanghai, China) To promote the plastics industry’s cooperation between China and U.S., China-U.S. Plastics Industry Summit 2008 will be held on April 16, 2008 in Renaissance Shanghai Pudong Hotel. China Plastics Processing Industry Association (CPPIA), The Society of Plastics Industry, Inc (SPI), China Plastic Machine Industry Association, Shanghai Society of Plastics Industry and Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd. will jointly host the event. The themes of Summit will focus on the technology developments and industrial challenges on the future China-U.S. outlook.

As one of the highlighted activities of Chinaplas 2008 which will be held during April 17 to 20 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Pudong, Shanghai, this Summit aims at offering an information exchange platform for enterprises in plastics industry. Attendees will include more than 200 local and foreign plastics companies as well as those experts who are experienced in plastics trading between China and U.S.

Taking the advantage of Chinaplas, the China-U.S. Summit will focus on the strategic cooperation, market sharing and trade complementation of plastics industry between China and the U.S. The discussion topics include the latest technical information, market trends, challenges and opportunities for Chinese or U.S. companies, and the cooperations between each others etc., combining the rich and varied theories study and approaches to the industrial practices.

Experts from the industry will give speeches on various hot topics at the Summit, including Mr. Liao Zhengpin, the Chairman of China Plastics Processing Industry Association (CPPIA); Mr. Lin Dongliang, the Chairman of Waste Plastics Recycling Committee of China Plastics Processing Industry Association(WPRC-CPPIA); Mr. Neil Pratt from SPI; Mr. David Gossack, Principal Commercial Officer of American Consulate General Shanghai. This summit will help participants build effective communication channel and explore more opportunities for two countries to work together.

China-U.S. Plastics Industry Summit 2008 is open for the trade visitors only.
