NEW COATER FOR AVERY DENNISON ROLL MATERIALS EUROPE – THE CORPORATION’S BIGGEST-EVER SINGLE INVESTMENT

Avery Dennison Corporation’s biggest-ever single investment, at €48 million, is unveiled at Labelexpo Europe: a new coater and fully automated warehouse for Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe’s manufacturing and distribution centre in Rodange, Luxembourg.

‘Fasson: Ideas that work for you’ is the theme for the Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe team at this year’s Labelexpo Europe – Stand A40, Hall 5. We are focussed on using our show presence to welcome exhibition visitors to take a seat and enjoy a ‘no obligation’ discussion of their labelling needs – now and in the future. NEW FASSON MC PLUS PAPER LABELSTOCKS FOR HIGH QUALITY PRINT

Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe announces a major new addition to its white Fasson-brand self-adhesive machine-coated paper labelstocks, with the introduction of Fasson MC Plus. MC Plus is a white, 85gm2 semi-gloss, one-side machine-coated paper with excellent printing characteristics. Suitable for high quality single or multicolorprinting processes and for applications where attractive semi-gloss appearance in multi-colour work is required.

AVERY DENNISON GRAPHICS DIVISION’S BRANDING STRATEGY RETAINS THREE ‘HERO’ BRANDS

Avery Dennison Graphics Division Europe – sister division to Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe – serves the sheet-fed offset, screen printing, and large-format graphics market with a range of special materials. Its three brand Avery Graphics, Jac Graphics, and Fasson are supplied to customers primarily via dedicated networks of specialist distributors.

Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe gains new vice president/general manager

Avery Dennison is pleased to announce the appointment of Don Stoebe to the position of vice president and general manager, Roll Materials Europe, effective September 1, 2003. Mr. Stoebe will be based in Leiden, the Netherlands, and will provide overall leadership for our European roll materials businesses. He brings twenty years of experience and expertise gained in the Avery Dennison organization.
