NEW FASSON ADHESIVE FOR FILM LABELSTOCKS OFFERS A POWERFUL COMBINATION OF PERFORMANCE FEATURES

Leiden, The Netherlands, Avery Dennison Roll Materials Europe have introduced a new high-performance permanent grade to their portfolio of specialty adhesives on Fasson-brand self-adhesive film labelstocks: Fasson S4700.

Fasson S4700 has been formulated to deliver high tack and adhesion on rough and textured surfaces, ‘difficult’ container shapes, and for applications where high initial tack is critical. It is currently available from stock on two popular film labelstock qualities: Fasson PE White and Transparent and Fasson PE 100 Top White and Transparent. Fasson S4700 can be converted (and successfully diecut) at high speeds, without any of the problems associated with ‘traditional’ high-tack adhesives. Converted labels can also by applied on today’s high-speed dispensers.

An acrylic-based extra-permanent adhesive, Fasson S4700 is particularly suitable for labels on industrial chemicals, car care products, and agrochemicals, where rugged adhesion is important for the life of the product. Its good wet-out characteristics ensure a smooth finish for applied labels – and the adhesive is also therefore suitable for use on personal care and household products where aesthetics, as well as function, are important.

Fasson S4700 is available via the Fasson Exact service programme on Fasson PE100 White and Transparent with BG42 glassine liner, and via the standard service programme on Fasson PE Top qualities (also supplied with BG42 liner).
