Azelis extends its distribution agreement with IFF to market fragrances in 5 new Eastern European countries
Effective January 1st 2013, Azelis is pleased to announce that it will be appointed by International Flavors & Fragrances Inc. (NYSE: IFF) as exclusive distributor for fragrances in Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary for selected customers in the Personal Care and Home Care (including Fabric Care) sectors.
This complements existing agreements between the two companies in Western Europe.
To support these new markets a new, fully equipped Azelis fragrance evaluation laboratory has been commissioned in Bulgaria.
Thomas Schlenstedt, Azelis International Principal Manager Fragrances explains, “Azelis now has an enhanced fragrance applications team located in Spain, Bulgaria and the UK to support our sales teams across Europe. With the new Bulgarian facility close to our new markets, we are well positioned to efficiently answer client briefs and provide the level of service that IFF customers have come to expect in that region”.

The extended agreement will cover the supply of fragrances into Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland and Hungary for: Cleaners, Detergents, Fabric Care, Air care, Personal Wash, Beauty Care and Fine Fragrances.
