Belden, a leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of signal transmission products has introduced the company’s 10GX® IDC System, allowing the building of large cross-connect systems which are space-efficient, easy to install and easy to maintain. BELDEN COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF LUMBERG AUTOMATION COMPONENTS
Germany based industrial connector company will expand Belden’s position as a leader in industrial connectivity solutions for factory automation.
St. Louis, Missouri – Belden (NYSE:BDC), a world leader in the development of signal transmission solutions, has completed purchase of the assets of Lumberg Automation Components from The Lumberg Group for an undisclosed cash price. Lumberg Automation is a leading supplier of industrial connectors, high performance cord-sets and field bus communication components for factory automation machinery. The company’s 2006 revenues were approximately $75 million.

Steve Lampen tours Europe and Middle East
In the coming month, Steve Lampen, author of The Audio-Video Cable Installer's Pocket Guide (published by McGraw-Hill), and columnist for Radio World Magazine, is set to tour Europe and the Middle East for a series of lectures in 10 countries. During this tour he will visit Sweden, Finland, Norway, Denmark, UK, Spain, France, Poland, the Netherlands and United Arab Emerates.
