The integrated MIMO antenna technology (multiple input multiple output) ensures a stable wireless connection. Other features of these Access Points include extensive management, security and quality of service functions plus layer 3 IP routing.

BELDEN ANNOUNCES 10% PRICE INCREASE IN EMEA

Belden has announced that the company is to increase the prices of all its wire and cable products in the EMEA region by 10%. According to Roel Vestjens, General Manager of Belden Wire & Cable Systems EMEA, the increase, which will be effective as of 12 April 2010, is to offset escalating costs, particularly raw materials and energy.

At the Hanover Fair (Hall 7, Booth A46/3) Belden will introduce the three new BAT controllers WLC25, WLC50 and WLC100 from its Hirschmann™ product range to ensure fast data communications and optimum network availability. These controllers are designed for use in switch cabinets and can be used to centrally configure and manage 25, 50 or 100 WLAN access points respectively. As these controllers are fully compatible to all Hirschmann™ access points in the BAT series, your existing BAT equipment does not need to be replaced.

Belden gains IRIS certification for Hirschmann™ brand

Belden has announced that following an audit performed by TÜV Management Service, its complete range of Hirschmann™ industrial Ethernet and automation products has been certified according to the requirements of the International Railway Industry Standard (IRIS). Like the ISO/TS 16949 standard for suppliers to the automobile industry, IRIS is a new organisation standard for the rail-mounted vehicle industry, which assumes project durations of 20 to 30 years.
