Belden’s HiOS Software Upgrade Designed to Meet the Needs of Industry 4.0

Complete with an embedded Open Platform Communications Unified Architecture (OPC UA) server, the software provides a seamless, brand-agnostic solution as industrial automation moves towards Industry 4.0. Belden is the only manufacturer to offer switches that can natively run this communication protocol.

Belden annonce l'acquisition d'OTN Systems N.V.
Belden Inc. (NYSE : BDC), l'un des principaux fournisseurs mondiaux de solutions réseau spécialisées, a annoncé aujourd'hui avoir signé un accord définitif pour l'acquisition de OTN Systems N.V, un grand fournisseur privé de solutions d'infrastructures réseau d'automatisation, pour un montant d'environ 71 millions de dollars, déduction faite de la trésorerie acquise. La transaction devrait être conclue au cours du premier trimestre 2021, sous réserve des conditions habituelles de clôture, et sera financée par l'encaisse, qui s'élevait à environ 500 millions de dollars à la fin de l'année 2020. La Société a en outre revu à la hausse ses prévisions de recettes et de bénéfice par action pour le quatrième trimestre 2020.
