Belden Sponsors the “Next” Industrial Revolution Panel Discussion
St. Louis, Missouri - October 14, 2014 - Belden Inc., a global leader in signal transmission solutions for mission-critical applications, announces The "Next" Industrial Revolution, a free panel discussion on Oct. 23, 2014, at 8 a.m. in the Living World at the Saint Louis Zoo. The event, hosted by the St. Louis Business Journal, will feature Belden President and Chief Executive Officer John Stroup. Belden's industrial manufacturing footprint spans the globe, with extensive manufacturing capabilities in the United States.
Stroup will be joined by Graybar Chairman, President and CEO Kathy Mazzarella, who will address supply chain logistics and efficiencies. Dr. Mahendra Gupta, dean of Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis, rounds out the panel of experts.
The "Next" Industrial Revolution focuses on current trends arising from global industrial manufacturing capabilities. This includes the competitive advantages of U.S. manufacturing, logistical and supply chain benefits of local facilities, technology in manufacturing and the current skills gap affecting the U.S. labor pool.
