Borealis appoints Ultrapolymers as European rotomoulding distribution partner
Borealis has appointed Ultrapolymers as distribution partner in Europe for its full range of polyethylene and polypropylene rotomoulding (RM) resins effective March 14, 2005.
The appointment of Ultrapolymers consolidates the reputation of Borealis as a leading, innovative provider of plastics solutions with a long-term commitment to the rotomoulding market in Europe. In addition, it marks the introduction of a strategy to further strengthen Borealis’ market position by a series of initiatives that will include a range of new product innovations.
“We are confident that this new distribution arrangement will be beneficial for all customers,” confirms André van Uffelt, Borealis Vice President Moulding. “Borealis remains strongly committed to the RM business, where it is already highly respected for the quality of its product portfolio and highly experienced, cross-disciplinary team.”
Ultrapolymers will provide a full sales and technical support service for the Borealis ranges of rotomoulding polymers, with local representatives able to provide a significantly faster route to market. It will also offer comprehensive colour compounding and grinding services.
According to its Managing Director, Benoît De Keyser: “Ultrapolymers is keen to serve new and existing customers for Borealis RM resins across Europe. Borealis has an excellent product portfolio that, coupled with our strong local presence, will enable us to provide a complete service to our rotomoulding partners.”

• Borecene™ (single-site catalyst PE) pellets and powders;
• Borecene Compact™ black and natural micropellet grades;
