New Nepol™ long, glass fibre reinforced polypropylene concentrate for technically demanding injection moulded automotive parts

New Nepol™ long, glass fibre reinforced polypropylene concentrate from Borealis for technically demanding injection moulded automotive parts. There is a growing trend to use dilution technology as a cost effective route for technically demanding injection moulded applications. This technology reduces the quantity of compounded material used by diluting a concentrated long, glass fibre compound (“concentrate”) with reactor polypropylene (PP) at the injection moulding stage. To meet the needs of customers making this transition from conventional moulding, Borealis – through Borouge, the exclusive distributor and marketer of Borealis’ speciality polyolefins in the Middle East and Asia Pacific – has launched Nepol™ GB600HP-9502.
