MATTHEW HELLSTERN TO HEAD CHEMTURA URETHANES
Matthew Hellstern will assume leadership of the Chemtura Urethanes business unit as vice president, announced Chief Business Officer & Group President Robert Wedinger, Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM). Mr. Hellstern replaces John Dennerlein, who will lead the Industrial Lubricants & Additives unit in Chemtura’s Petroleum Additives business. Mr. Hellstern also will continue as vice president of Performance Specialties Products.

CHEMTURA RAISES PRICES ON POLYMER ADDITIVES FOR RUBBER INDUSTRY
Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) will increase prices on a range of its polymer additives used primarily in the rubber industry, effective March 1, 2008, or as contracts allow. CHEMTURA RAISES PRICES 10% ON WESTON®, MARK® LIQUID PHOSPHITE ESTERS

CHEMTURA NAMES DR. ROBERT WEDINGER CHIEF BUSINESS OFFICER
Chemtura Corporation(NYSE:CEM) has appointed Robert S. Wedinger, PhD as chief business officer, reporting directly to Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert Wood. Dr. Wedinger is now responsible for Chemtura's commercial organization and its four businesses: Polymer Additives, Performance Specialties, Crop and Consumer Products. Dr. Wedinger, who was serving as group president of Performance Specialties, will retain his Performance Specialties role in addition to his new responsibilities. He joined Chemtura in 2006 as vice president and general manager of Process Chemicals and Polymers.

The Chemtura Team Launches New Adiprene® K One-Component Urethane Systems at UTECH (shown here), API, Rubber Expo and the K-Show. Interest was at a record high at the trade shows, based on inquiries. New Adiprene K is a time/cost-saving one-component urethane system. It ends worries about accurate weighing and mixing, since Chemtura fixes the stoichiometry at its plant.
