CHEMTURA INCREASES PRICES ON TBBA
In response to significant raw material and freight cost inflation, Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) will increase the price on Tetrabromobisphenol A. Effective for shipments on or after August 15, 2008, or where contracts allow, the new minimum price for BA-59P will be $2.95/kg.

Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) will increase the price of nonylphenol by $0.14/lb, effective on all deliveries on or after July 15, 2008, or as contracts allow. The price increase is the result of a continued increase in raw material and energy costs.

CHEMTURA TO RAISE PRICES ON POLYMER ADDITIVES FOR RUBBER INDUSTRY
Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) will increase prices on a range of its polymer additives used primarily by its customers in the rubber industry, effective July 15, 2008, or as contracts allow. Chemtura Corporation’s Performance Specialties business has completed a substantial expansion at its European regional Technical Service laboratory—an investment to support further growth of its range of Adiprene®/Vibrathane® polyurethane prepolymers. The newly refurbished and upgraded laboratory is located at Chemtura’s European manufacturing plant in Latina, Italy, where it produces Adiprene®, Vibrathane® & Ribbon Flow® TDI and MDI prepolymers, Adiprene® Low Free TDI prepolymers and Vibracure® curatives.

CHEMTURA TO INCREASE WESTON®, MARK®, AND NAUGARD® PHOSPHITE PRICES
Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) will increase the price of Weston®, Mark®, and Naugard® phosphite antioxidants and stabilizers by $0.40-$0.60/kg, effective for all deliveries on or after June 10, 2008, or as contracts allow. The price increase is necessary to recover the unprecedented increases in the costs of phosphorus-based chemicals.

CHEMTURA INCREASES PRICES ON BISPHOSPHATE FLAME RETARDANTS
Effective June 15th, 2008, or as contract terms allow, Chemtura Corporation (NYSE : CEM) will increase pricing for Reofos® BAPP and Reofos® RDP aryl bisphosphate ester flame retardants by $0.65 per kilogram in all regions. Chemtura is also removing all extended price validity.

RISING COSTS FORCE CHEMTURA URETHANES TO RAISE PRICES
