CHEMTURA INCREASES PRICES ON ALUMINUM ALKYL PRODUCTS
MIDDLEBURY, CT,— Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) today announced a price increase of approximately 45% for the neat portion of its aluminum alkyl products, effective November 15, 2005 or as contracts allow.
Chemtura is a leading global producer of inhibitors, catalysts components and performance and processing aids applied in production and processing of a diverse range of polymers. The company is Europe’s largest producer of aluminum alkyls utilized as catalyst components for polyolefin and synthetic rubber manufacture.
