CHEMTURA NAMES NEW EXEC V.P., PLASTIC ADDITIVES, TO BUILD CUSTOMER PARTNERSHIPS

MIDDLEBURY, CT – Chemtura Corporation (NYSE:CEM) has named Marcus Meadows-Smith to the position of Executive Vice President for Plastic Additives. The appointment signals a new direction for the world’s largest plastic additives manufacturer.

Meadows-Smith says the goal of the Chemtura team “is to build lasting partnerships with customers. Meadows-Smith joined Chemtura in 1993. He has been responsible for business in Eastern and Western Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. He holds a B.S. with honors in genetics from Birmingham University in the U.K., and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. He continues to serve as Executive Vice President for Chemtura Consumer Products and Crop Protection.
