Clariant launches unique POS Color Dispenser Machines
Muttenz, March 27, 2013 - Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, will create a stir among the Point of Sale (POS) Tinting segment with its launch of the first compact Color Dispenser to allow simultaneous dispensing of up to six colors at a time. Clariant's machine is one of two new innovative prototypes offering performance and productivity benefits to retailers.

Completion of early redemption of Convertible Bond 2009-2014
Muttenz, March 27, 2013 - Clariant, a world leader in Specialty Chemicals, has announced the completion of the early redemption of the 3% Convertible Bond 2009-2014 of CHF 300 million (ISIN CH0101753892) with conversion rights into Clariant registered shares with a nominal value of CHF 3.70. The conversion was concluded on March 20, 2013, based on the terms of the bond.

Clariant Shareholders Approve All Agenda Items
Muttenz, March 26, 2013 - Today's Annual General Meeting of Clariant AG - a world leader in specialty chemicals - in Basel was attended by 616 shareholders and representatives of shareholders, accounting for 155'858'480 shares or around 46.95% of the share capital of Clariant, who approved all of the items on the agenda. Hariolf Kottmann, CEO: "We expect full-year sales for the 2013 financial year to continue to grow as well as an increase in year-on-year profitability. We intend to generate additional growth by continuing to implement strategic initiatives and by increasing our focus on innovations. Recent investments will also contribute towards generating growth and increasing margins."

Clariant grows in Poland
Konstantynów Łódzki, March 15, 2013 - Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, was joined by distinguished guests for the groundbreaking of its new plant in Konstantynów Łódzki, Poland. The ceremony held on site was attended by the Swiss ambassador, and representatives of local authorities and the Łódź Special Economic Zone as honorary guests. The new, modern plant will commence production of color concentrates for producers of plastic materials one year from now. The investment, worth CHF 11.3 million, will allow Clariant to increase production capacity and strengthen its position on Polish and European markets.

Clariant grows in Poland
Muttenz, March 15, 2013 - Clariant, a world leader in Specialty Chemicals, has broken the ground for its new investment in Konstantynów Łódźki, Poland. The new building covers an area about 6'800 square meters and will include new production site, laboratory and warehouse as well as Clariant offices. The investment, worth CHF 11.3 million, will enable Clariant to double the production capacity of color concentrates for its Business Unit Masterbatches and also to create new job opportunities.
