Clariant extends Scandinavia Oil Services capabilities
September 24, 2009 - Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals has invested in extended facilities at its Oil Services operations in Bergen, Norway, to grow its oil service business in Scandinavia and beyond.
The expansion of existing applications and service laboratories, as well as the Global Environmental Laboratory, strengthens Clariant's capabilities to service clients in Scandinavia and other countries. These capabilities are further enhanced through partnerships with Clariant laboratories in Aberdeen in the UK and Frankfurt in Germany.
The expansion of the Bergen facilities, from 500 sq m to 850 sq m, represents an investment of CHF 880,000 (NKr 5 million). "This investment allows us to deliver a more integrated and efficient service and to support our long-term commitment to provide world-class solutions to our clients," says Frode Bekkestad, Managing Director, Clariant Oil Services, Scandinavia.
