Clariant emphasizes commitment to civil engineering segment at STUVA Expo 2015

Munich, December 1, 2015 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, features sustainable solutions for tunneling and a preview of its 2016 sediment management newcomer at STUVA Expo 2015.

At this leading biennial international event, Clariant will present a full picture of its commitment to providing worldwide all-round support for the civil engineering segment.

This includes the familiar ranges of BENTONIL® and TIXOTON® high-performance natural bentonites for tunneling. Backed by a global production and sales network and unrivalled application knowledge, Clariant’s grades provide a safe, efficient and tailored solution to suit demanding applications, including drilling fluids, lubrication and backfill grouts. Visitors will also be treated to a first look at newcomer INVOQUE™ Performance Dewatering Solutions. This brand-new, unique, mineral-based coagulation, flocculation and adsorbent technology allows for fast, effective dewatering with the solid sediments able to be beneficially used for example in infrastructure/construction or agriculture, creating new value streams for customers and avoiding high disposal costs while boosting sustainability and improving environmental impact.
