Clariant to increase prices for pigments and dye products

  • Global price increase effective May 1, 2018 or as soon as contracts allow

Charlotte, May 1, 2018 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, announces today a global price increase for many of its pigments and dyes by 5-20%. The increase is effective May 1, 2018 or as soon as contracts allow.

The price increase is due to the continued rise in prices of key raw materials driven by several factors including supply-demand dynamics.
