Clariant to increase prices of all Sorbacid® product grades
Munich, October 18, 2018 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, announced today that their Business Unit Functional Minerals, will increase prices of all Sorbacid product grades by 7%. The price increase will be effective November 1, 2018, or as contracts and prior agreements otherwise allow.
This increase is necessary to address continuing inflationary pressures, amongst others in raw materials and energy costs and the need to secure long-term reinvestment economics.
