Head of Group Communications to leave Clariant

Muttenz, November 1, 2010 - Arnd Wagner, Head of Group Communications, has made the decision to leave Clariant as of the end of 2010.

Over the past years Arnd Wagner has made an essential contribution with regards to the construction and direction of Group Communications, and in positioning the business in the media and public. In addition he was responsible for the communication around the restructuring and consolidation of Clariant. With the successful conclusion of this important phase, Arnd Wagner decided to pursue other opportunities outside of the company.

On an ad interim basis and with immediate effect Ulrich Nies will take over the leadership of Group Communications.

We thank Arnd Wagner for his significant contribution and wish him all the very best for the future.
