Clariant raises prices for textile chemicals and textile dyes
Muttenz, December 8, 2010 – Clariant Business Unit Textile Chemicals announces price increases for its ranges of textile chemicals and textiles dyes of up to 15%. The price rises will take immediate effect.
“Continuing shortages in raw materials are creating an on-going situation of rising feedstock prices for our Business. This, in combination with ever-higher energy and transportation costs, leaves Clariant no alternative but to adjust the prices of our textile ranges for our customers,” comments Thomas Winkler Head of BU Textile Chemicals at Clariant International Ltd.
Clariant’s customers will be contacted individually regarding the specifics of the price increases as they apply to their products and regions.
