Clariant Oil Services Awarded 10-year Contract with Talisman Energy for their CBA Assets
- Clariant Oil Services will provide topside production chemicals, with large support team dedicated to customer service
- 10-year contract structured on strength of existing partnership between the two organizations
Houston (USA), March 29, 2012 – Clariant Oil Services has reached a 10-year agreement with Talisman Energy (UK) Limited to provide topside production chemicals and services for their North Sea CBA assets located in the United Kingdom Continental Shelf.
The agreement follows a seven-year relationship between Clariant Oil Services and Talisman Energy in which Clariant has supplied production chemicals in the North Sea region to the CBA assets. During that period, Talisman Energy has grown to become one of the largest operators in
the region.
“Clariant Oil Services and Talisman Energy have been partners for the past seven years,” said Jonathan Wylde, UK business manager for Clariant Oil Services. “This 10-year agreement is a natural extension of that partnership and provides a foundation for the continued relationship between our organizations with a strong focus on delivering enhanced performance over the term of the contract.”
