Clariant Oil Services to Present at Offshore Technology Conference in Houston

Houston (USA), April 16, 2012 - Clariant Oil Services will present an in-depth look at the development of gas-lift paraffin inhibitors at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) at Reliant Park in Houston, April 30 – May 3, 2012.
Clariant Oil Services is scheduled to present "Considerations and Lessons Learned on Development of Gas-Lift Paraffin Inhibitors for Subsea Wells in the Gulf of Mexico" at 2:44 p.m. on May 1, in room 602 at Reliant Park. The presentation will take place during the “Flow Assurance: Solids Management and Chemicals” session.
The presentation, authored by Clariant Oil Services’ technical expert and UK Business Manager Dr. Jonathan J. Wylde and to be presented by technical coordinator Jubal Slayer, details the laboratory evaluation and product development for a uniquely applied gas-lift paraffin inhibitor, and includes significant learning lessons on the design and implementation of gas-lift paraffin inhibitors, as well as conclusions regarding the most appropriate deployment parameters to avoid gunking and clogging of injection systems.
