- Company uses new motto to spark productive dialogue with customers
- Wide range of Clariant protective solutions for pharmaceutical packaging are on display
Munich, 9 October 2012 – The Swiss specialty chemicals group Clariant is showcasing its new corporate brand, booth design and corporate motto, “What is Precious to You?”, here at CPhI 2012. In booth #10F78, Performance Packaging, part of the Functional Materials business unit, is exhibiting solutions that promise to protect the precious contents within pharmaceutical packaging – highly valuable and lifesaving drugs. The motto, presented in the form of a question, also serves to open a dialogue with customers so that Clariant can better understand their needs and develop targeted solutions.
Performance Packaging offers a broad array of solutions for protecting pharmaceutical products from potentially damaging humidity and oxygen exposure. Its desiccant canisters for moisture control are the “gold standard” in the industry. Clariant also offers PharmaKeep® humidity-neutral oxygen scavengers that work in conjunction with a desiccant. Container closure systems with built-in desiccants, such as the Integrated Desiccant Closure (IDC®) offer opportunities for improved efficiency and safety. The IDC combines tamper-evident, child-resistant and twist-off functionalities with a built-in desiccant. Another highlighted solution is the Advanced Desiccant Polymer (ADP®), which delivers adsorbent capabilities integrated directly into thermoplastics for built-in, dust-free desiccant protection.
This extensive product portfolio is supported by expert technical services, including packaging simulation in relevant conditions for optimized shelf life protection.
“Clariant’s new branding is much more than a design change. It encompasses our commitment to ask customers about their most important issues and appreciate their specific requirements so we can develop innovative solutions for them,” said Andy Walti, head of Performance Packaging.“Here at CPhl, we are celebrating the new branding and all that it represents, as we showcase our diverse protective solutions for the pharmaceutical sector.”
