  • Clariant to showcase full range of aircraft and runway de-icers

Muttenz, October 8, 2013 - Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, today presented its aviation de-icers to the many thousands of visitors attending the opening day of the 19th inter airport Europe trade show in Munich, Germany. The company is showcasing its full range of Safeway® runway and Safewing® aircraft de-icers at the Trade Fair in Munich, Germany from 8-11 October, 2013.

Nigel Westlake, Head of Clariant’s Aviation Business Line, commented: “This important show comes at a perfect time, just as we reach full readiness for another winter season. As part of our extensive supply and logistics set up in Europe we are pleased to introduce two new distribution depots, in Rotterdam (Netherlands) and Birrfeld (Switzerland). These depots will service new customers in the Netherlands, Belgium and Switzerland. Our extensive distribution network is supported by an online order tracking tool with real time truck location allowing customers to monitor their important deliveries.”

At the show, Clariant’s experts are providing information not just on its leading-edge products, but also on its proprietary recycling concept, as well as offering the latest commercial and technical insights.
