Clariant Oil Services to Showcase Chemical Solutions and R&D Investments at OTC Brazil 2013
- Customer-focused technological solutions for deepwater and ultra-deepwater scenarios developed by Clariant Oil Services Deepwater Center of Excellence
- Chemical solutions, compliant with local content requirements established by the Brazilian National Agency for Oil and Gas (ANP), will be central to the new Deepwater Center of Excellence in Rio de Janeiro
São Paulo, October 29, 2013 - Clariant Oil Services exhibits and participates in the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) Brazil 2013, October 29-31, at Riocentro in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
In line with the event’s theme ‘From North to South: A Wealth of Opportunities’, Clariant Oil Services showcases its chemical solutions’ portfolio for offshore hydrocarbon exploration and production in deepwater, ultra-deepwater, heavy crude and mature fields, among others.
“We have a diverse portfolio of solutions that combine chemical products and services designed to meet the demands of the offshore oil and gas industry in the most complex scenarios,” said Carlos Tooge, Vice President of Clariant Oil and Mining Services for Latin America. “Clariant Oil Services has anticipated the industry’s demands and developed products and services for production in low temperatures, deep and ultra-deepwater, and heavy crude fields, as well as for drilling in hostile environments containing carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulfide.”

Clariant Oil Services recently opened its new Deepwater Center of Excellence in The Woodlands, Texas, a center of technology and innovation just north of Houston, to support the organization’s Global Centers of Excellence in Rio de Janeiro, the United Kingdom, Germany and Malaysia.
Clariant Oil Services exhibits innovative chemical solutions from booth J25 in Pavilion 3, including fluid separation, scale, integrity management, well service additives and flow assurance. Clariant Oil Services also showcases water injection systems solutions and Liberate® production enhancement system solutions.
