Clariant uncovers natural additions to its Secret Code of Beauty at in-cosmetics 2014

Muttenz, February 5, 2014 - Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, will exhibit new beauty inspirations with a natural twist at this year's in-cosmetics event in Hamburg, Germany. Emerging from its Secret Code of Beauty concept, Clariant's latest ingredients and concepts will be shown at Hall A4 Booth #4F20 and will reflect consumers' desires for all that is inspired by nature in Personal Care.

Formulators and brand owners visiting in-cosmetics can look forward to Clariant’s new EcoTain® for Personal Care concept. The EcoTain label provides the assurance of ‘sustainable excellence at every step’ for selected products from Clariant’s Personal Care product portfolio. Further highlights will include: Nipaguard® Zero - safer and effective alternatives to parabens, halogens and formaldehyde donors based on 100% renewable Velsan® SC synergistic booster; next-generation naturally-derived, high performance emulsifiers; and Clariant’s all-natural Plantasens® range.

  • “Preserve with confidence: Nipaguard Zero Blends” will be presented by Dr. Tom Fricke on Tuesday April 1, 12:40-13:10 in Theatre 3.
  • Dr. Henrike Neuhoff will present “Next generation of multifunctional, high performing, green emulsifiers” on Wednesday April 2, 15:10-15:40 in Theatre 1.
