WEBSITE IN CHINESE LAUNCHES MATERIALS AND APPLICATIONS DATABASE POWERED BY MBASE

DSM Engineering Plastics (DEP) has launched a material and applications database in Chinese, powered by MBase (http://www.m-base.de). With this tool, Chinese visitors to the DEP site can have a whole host of choices to view information presented for product data and applications data.

With advanced search features the MBase tool provides for easy selection of product grades to empower visitors to make right choices of materials. Also comparison of grades is easily possible through multipoint graphs with a curve overlay feature with which different grades of materials can be compared. The visitor also has the choice to view data in SI or US systems.

The website meet the specific needs of Chinese manufacturers who join Campus and so require the use of ISO standards. DSM Engineering Plastics is the first plastics manufacturer worldwide to publish product and application data in the Chinese language on internet through the MBase tool.
