Akulon® price increase
DSM Engineering Plastics (DSM EP) has announced that effective 1 April 2004, the price of its Akulon polyamide 6 range will be increased by 120 €/mt.
According to a DSM EP spokesperson “the price increase is a reaction to the continuous erosion of margins due to increasing cost of raw materials and energy.” He added: “This price correction will enable DSM EP to respond to a growing market demand, and continue to invest in production expansion and product development.”
