Stanyl High Flow UL94 HB from DSM Engineering Plastics:
ADVANCING MINIATURIZATION FOR USB
Meeting the halogen free requirements in the E&E industry, DSM Engineering Plastics has now fully commercialized its new High Flow portfolio of UL94 HB rated material which enables the industry to further miniaturize its components.
Most recent USB 3.0 is now adapting UL94 HB rated material as a standard. Previous USB 2.0 was also changed from UL94 V-0 rating to UL94 HB recently. This increases the choice of halogen free materials available to USB connector manufacturers.
Stanyl High Flow UL94 HB rated portfolio is meeting demanding market needs in the Electronics industry, including halogen free, miniaturization, and cost reduction. The entire Stanyl High Flow UL94 HB rated portfolio is becoming the material of choice for USB connectors as it is completely halogen free and has the best flow capability to make extremely miniaturized designs possible. At the same time, the material delivers maximum productivity for significant cost reductions.
