Distrupol maintaining ‘local’ customer support with a new addition to the UK sales team

Distrupol, a member company of Univar and a leading European polymer distributor, technical service provider and application development partner, has appointed Jeremy Tizard to the post of Account Manager, North West and Scotland in the United Kingdom.

This latest addition to Distrupol’s UK team is a reflection of the company’s continuing policy of growing customer support by increasing its on-the-ground presence in the markets it serves. Tizard joins Distrupol from a sales role with an international engineering company specialized in personnel and environmental protection for the chemical, pharmaceutical and power generation industries.

Following graduation Tizard (30), who holds a BSc degree in chemistry from the University of Exeter, was engaged for three years in a European project researching the production of new materials for use in fuel cell and sensor applications. Subsequently he embarked on a sales career in the polymer industry, deploying his skills in customer advisory roles with a particular emphasis technical polymers and flexible materials for the injection moulding and extrusion markets.
