Distrupol signs up for Cabot Masterbatch in Ireland
Distrupol Ireland has signed a contract with Cabot Corporation for the distributorship of their range of masterbatches in Ireland, starting 1 August, 2009. The range includes Cabot’s black, white, grey and additive masterbatches trading as PLASBLAK®, PLASWITE®, PLASGREY® AND PLASADD® respectively.
Cabot masterbatches include industry-standard and application-focused products as well as masterbatches tailored for individual customer needs. Plastics processors rely on Cabot masterbatches for a variety of thermoplastic polymer applications, including Film, Injection Moulding, Pipe, Sheet, Fiber and Cable jacketing.
“This is a great opportunity to broaden the range that we can offer to our customers in Ireland” says Derek Watts, who will be Distrupol’s product manager for Cabot Masterbatches. “We see this Cabot development as a natural extension of the agreement that we already have for Cabot’s Cabelec range. We look forward to working with Cabot in Ireland to expand the value that we can offer to our Irish customers.”
