Strategies in China

Brussels December 21st, ECMSA (European Chemical Marketing and Strategy Association) and CWD (Chemical World Database) announced that they will run a one day conference in Brussels on March 15th 2005 to explore the chemical industry’s experiences of China. Focusing on the actual experience of those businesses that have ridden the China investment boom and the prospects for consumer driven demand for chemicals the conference will set out to explore the pro’s and con’s associated with investment in China. The conference will be held under the auspices of CEFIC and with the support of the VCI. This event is being organised by the chemical industry for the chemical industry.

ECMSA back on the European Map

Brussels, December 6th 2004 European Chemical Marketing & Strategy Association (ECMSA) president Fred du Plessis addressed association members at the 2004 AGM. Originally established in 1962 as ECMRA (European Chemical Market Research Association) and renamed in 2000, ECMSA as been greatly impacted by the restructuring and consolidation within the chemical industry over the last several years.

ECMSA at LESI Paris

The European Chemical Marketing and Strategy Association (ECMSA) is running two industry-critical workshops at this year’s Licensing Executives Society International (LESI) meeting in Paris, which runs from 29 – 31 March 2004.
