INTRODUCING SKYSCRAPER NETWORK
Two leading agencies launch global communications network for the Architecture, Building & Construction industry
Bergen op Zoom, May 4, 2010 – Skyscraper Network is a new global public relations and marketing service for the building industry. The network, which is being launched simultaneously in Europe, North America and China, sets out to provide global business-to-business (B2B) media relations and marketing communications for companies who manufacture or supply architectural, building and interior design products and those who supply services, such as architects and contractors.
Key activities include media relations, literature programmes, internet solutions, event and trade show support and commercial planning, as well as key message development, presentation and interview training and production of PR material and online messaging.
The Network is a joint initiative between EMG, an independent leading B2B industrial communications company, and Pressential, a leading specialist in architectural and building PR. Both companies have extensive experience working in Architecture, Building & Construction. With offices in Europe, UK, USA and China, Skyscraper Network is able to support clients who need to inform and influence architects, designers, contractors and specifiers on a national, regional or global basis.
Commenting on the new organization, architect Christopher Sykes, CEO of Pressential, says: “The building industry has been going through a hard time in the recession. This is why we have chosen to launch the Skyscraper Network now in order to help stimulate activity. As an example, several of our clients are already working closely with us to extend their business into other countries. We welcome this partnership with EMG, an influential global player in B2B public relations.”
Mr. Sykes adds: “We believe that by working together, we will be able to provide added value for our customers.”
EMG Co-founder Willem van de Velde says: “We welcome this partnership with Pressential. The company brings to Skyscraper Network a dedicated reputation and knowledge of working with the architectural and building press. EMG has delivered a large number of building, construction and infrastructure projects as well as related industries – often with a strong focus on sustainability. Our network of international offices and affiliates embraces many experienced staff and languages and has an enviable knowledge of local press in many different countries.”
Product manufacturers and service companies, together with architects and contractors are invited to contact their regional Skyscraper Network office or visit www.skyscrapernetwork.com.
