Eastman Kelvx® Resin makes high impact debut
An unmissable addition to the skyline over Capelle aan den IJssel, near Rotterdam, the Netherlands, is the bright red neon corporate sign on the new regional headquarters of specialty chemicals suppliers Eastman Chemical Company. The sign is not only creating high awareness of the town’s newcomer; it is made from Eastman’s Kelvx® resin, a new member to the Eastman’s Copolyester family and marks the first time this thermoplastic sheeting material has been used for an external signage application in Europe.

Eastman Sells Accurate Dispersions to Sherwin-Williams
KINGSPORT, Tenn., Dec. 1, 2003 – Eastman Chemical Company (NYSE:EMN) today announced the sale of its Accurate Dispersions’ colorants product lines and related assets to The Sherwin-Williams Company (NYSE:SHW). Terms of the agreement have not been disclosed. This transaction is expected to be neutral to Eastman’s ongoing operating earnings.

Lorraine has been named senior vice president and chief financial officer, effective Dec. 1. Lorraine succeeds James P.
