Eurocom is Number One tech PR Network

London 13 June, 2003: Eurocom PR Network, the specialist tech PR Network was confirmed today as the largest specialist tech PR Network in Europe. According to PR Week in the UK, the Eurocom PR Network is the fifth largest PR Network in Europe. It is ranked after PROI, Worldcom, Pinnacle and ECCO, all of whom have a broad client base. Eurocom is the only European PR Network that specialises primarily in technology.

Eurocom is also the largest Network in Europe in terms of countries covered, as it has a presence in 22 countries in Europe, ahead of Pinnacle at 18. Formed in April 2002, Eurocom was the only one of the top five networks not listed in the 2002 table and rose from zero to annual partner fees of £9.2 million.

Unlike all the other Networks who have multiple members per country, Eurocom only has one Partner per country. It works closely with Partners to develop business and has built a tight cohesive multi lingual European team.

Eurocom is currently undertaking a number of additional initiatives to strengthen its capability. These include developing practice groups specialising in key areas of PR as well as additional markets, a service level agreement, a standard price list, and shared databases of European media and prospects.

Response to a recent survey conducted by the Eurocom PR Network showed that Senior executives in European technology companies thought that public relations presented the best value for money in terms of marketing spend. Of the five options suggested, 43% of those questioned choose PR and 20% direct mail, while advertising and corporate hospitality achieved 13% each with events trailing at 10%.
