Technology network Eurocom PR hits 50 locations worldwide

Three more affiliates sign up

London and Bergen op Zoom, 1st August, 2003: Eurocom PR Network, a subsidiary of EMG (The European Marketing Group), a leading Dutch based marketing communications company, confirmed its position as one of the worlds largest independent specialist technology PR network by signing up three more affiliates which brings the total to 50 Eurocom offices worldwide.

Mutual PR has joined as the Eurocom Affiliate for India. Formed in 1995, Mutual PR has 40 people in its headquarters in New Delhi and offices in Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. Mutual PR offers complete PR related services with expertise in IT, Telecom, Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, and Healthcare. Clients include Adobe, Alcatel, EDS (PLM), Hitachi Data Systems, NDC, Nortel Networks, Novell, Oracle, ST Micro Electronics and Synopsys.

Eurocom has seen a noticeable increase in interest amongst USA based PR firms looking for an international capability. In the USA, Ripple Effect Communications, Boston, has become a Eurocom Affiliate. The firm was set up by former PR director LifeFX, Valerie Harding and ex FitzGerald executive Karen Oeser.

As the Chinese market opens up, more international firms are looking for local knowledge and marketing support. Eurocom has strengthened its capability in the region now that Eastwei, China’s leading local PR firm has joined Eurocom. Eastwei has a team of 40 people providing a range of communications services from offices in Beijing and Shanghai. Eastwei already work closely with Upstream Asia, Asia Pacific Partner and regional hub for Eurocom PR Network.

Eurocom was recently confirmed as the largest independent specialist tech PR Network in Europe. According to PR Week in the UK, the Eurocom PR Network is the fifth largest PR Network in Europe, though the only independent European PR network that specialises primarily in technology.
