Global PR Network Sets Direction with Focus on Innovation and Business Cooperation

10th Anniversary Conference of Eurocom Worldwide highlights the strengths of networked business model

Eurocom Worldwide, the global PR network, is setting a direction of innovation and business cooperation between member agencies and with client organisations around the world for the decade ahead. The network, which consists of independently owned PR and communications agencies in 60 locations around the globe conducted its 10th annual member conference in Prague, Czech Republic, this week.

The gathering of member agency delegates confirmed the network’s vision of joint business development and cooperation, and served as a forum for member agencies to strengthen the network community in areas such as client service, new media technologies and business development activities.

The desire to innovate how Public Relations and marketing activities are carried out for technology businesses was agreed as a key element of the network’s future direction. A number of innovative client business development methods were shared and reviewed by the conference delegates and will provide a platform for further development of activities and services in the network.

“We remain committed to operating the network as a not-for-profit mutual activity, where PR and communications experts from all corners of the globe can build and develop international relations, and share knowledge and innovation with like-minded colleagues from within the industry,” said Network Deputy Chairman Robin Baker, who presided over the conference proceedings.

“It is with great pride that we can celebrate a decade of growth for our network’s vision of a community structured to the benefit of member agencies. It is with confidence that we can set out to navigate through the decade ahead with a determined focus on sharing best of practices, enhancing our capabilities, and developing business and service methods to suit the needs of our clients in the 21st century,” said Robin Baker.

The conference delegates applauded the fact that the network maintained its level of client activity and joint project execution with well over shared 200 projects recorded in the last calendar year in spite of the general downturn in the market. All member agencies have now confirmed their adherence to the revised and updated Network Member Principles which require all member agencies to carry out their business activities according to established standards of international consultancy management.
