GE Focuses Resources on Its CYCOLAC* and GELOY* Resins Business for Improved Customer Satisfaction and Growth
BERGEN OP ZOOM, THE NETHERLANDS — GE Advanced Materials, a unit of GE (NYSE: GE), announced today that it has refocused resources on its CYCOLAC* and GELOY* resins business under the leadership of Charlie Crew, vice president and general manager. The move will help GE drive new growth opportunities for the company’s CYCOLAC and GELOY resin lines. It will also enable GE to focus resources to better serve customers of its popular acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (ABS) and acrylic-styrene-acrylonitrile (ASA) products. Crew will report to John Krenicki, president and chief executive officer, GE Advanced Materials.
The business is an integral part of GE Advanced Materials, Plastics with dedicated regional sales and technical teams to drive customer satisfaction and growth. Current supply chain activities for customers, including order management and delivery will remain the same. The business will continue to have dedicated teams for commercial technology, product management, and operations for greater customer focus on CYCOLAC and GELOY resin delivery, cycle time enhancement for new products, and strengthened customer relationship management.

The business includes plants at Bay Saint Louis, Miss.; Ottawa, Ill.; Washington, W.Va.; Tampico, Mexico; Grangemouth, Scotland; and Villers San Sepulcre, France. GE’s CYCOLAC and GELOY resins business will be headquartered in Pittsfield, Mass.
Crew previously served as vice president and general manager of GE Advanced Materials’ LNP specialty compounds brand portfolio. He joined GE in 1977 as a marketing and sales representative, and has since served in a number of marketing, sales, and commercial and business leadership positions in the company’s resins, sheet, and film businesses. These include vice president and general manager of commercial operations in the Americas, and vice president and general manager of operations in Europe. He is a graduate of Villanova University, Pa., where he earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
