Biographie M. Butti

Maurizio Butti is executive vice president of polymer stabilizers for Great Lakes Chemical Corporation, a $1.5 billion dollar global specialty chemical company.

In this role, Maurizio oversees all aspects of the polymer stabilizers business including development of the company’s wide range of UV stabilizers, antioxidants, blends, and optical monomers. In addition, Maurizio is chairman of Asia Stabilizers, a joint venture with Miwon Commercial Co. Ltd., and chairman of the Gulf Stabilizers Industries, a joint venture between with the Al Zamil Group of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, for the production of antioxidants and no dust blends.

Prior to his current role, Maurizio was vice president of business management and marketing for polymer stabilizers. He joined Great Lakes in 1994 where he directed business development for the polymer stabilizers business. From 1985 to 1994, Maurizio handled strategic planning for Enichem Synthesis SpA after serving in product management at SOL Industries.

Maurizio holds a degree in chemical engineering from Politecnico di Milano (Italy) and his M.B.A. from Bocconi University of Milano.
