Honeywell breaks ground on new fluorine products HFC-245fa plant, start up on track for 1 July, 2002
Honeywell announced that construction on its HFC-245fa manufacturing facility is on schedule for start-up July 1, 2002. On April 5, 2001 the company marked the groundbreaking of the facility with a customer-focused event.

Honeywell Fluorine Products Europe is now making semi-commercial quantities of its next-generation blowing agent HFC-245fa available to the European foam industry for customer trials.

New sales manager for Honeywell Fluorine Products Europe
Honeywell Fluorine Products Europe has appointed Giancarlo Matteo to the position of Sales Manager Europe, Middle East and Africa. In his new position Matteo will focus on further developing the value that Honeywell Fluorine Products brings to customers. Additionally, he will be responsible for implementing new business strategies in the European, Middle East and African regions.
