NEW APPOINTMENT STRENGTHENS HONEYWELL REFRIGERANTS EUROPE IN FRENCH AND BENELUX MARKETS

Honeywell Refrigerants Europe, a leader in HFC refrigerant technology, has announced the appointment of Yves Desuter as Sales Manager France-Benelux, for its Fluorine Products business. This latest appointment is part of Honeywell’s strengthening of its regional representation throughout Europe by putting dedicated area managers in-place, close to customers.

Mr. Desuter joins the business from Honeywell Performance Polymers & Chemicals where he was a Key Account and Sales Manager with responsibility for polyamide resins and films in the French and Benelux markets.

His new post follows broad experience with the company and its merged predecessor, Allied Signal, stretching back over the past 10 years, during which time he has held positions as diverse as Distribution Manager, Europe, Middle East and Africa and Corporate Business Analyst.

A business economist by training, Mr. Desuter holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics.

“The appointment of Yves is a clear signal to customers in France and the Belux of our ongoing commitment to increase levels of service and responsiveness to them,” says James Harris, Commercial Director, Honeywell Refrigerants Europe. “His strong management background and knowledge of both the markets and Honeywell will enable him to provide valuable customer support while driving business growth.”

As a global leader in HFC technology, Honeywell Refrigerants Europe is one of the major suppliers of fluorine-based refrigerants to the commercial and industrial refrigeration and air-conditioning industries. Already offering one of the industry’s broadest product ranges of environmentally safer refrigerants, Honeywell has in-place a continuous programme of research aimed at product innovations that further increase energy efficiency and safety, and contribute to a sustainable environment.
