HUSKY FORMS NEW “AUTOMATED SYSTEMS” GROUP
Bolton, Ontario, Canada – Husky Injection Molding Systems has created an Automated Systems Group whose mandate is to specialize on complete system solutions for customers. The new group was formed through a merger of Robotics and Systems Integration. “We have been providing system solutions to our customers for 25 years,” says Bruce Catoen, Vice-President of this new team. “In that time we have developed a reputation as innovators in the injection molding industry.” The continued development of this business is a key initiative for Husky going forward.

DEMAND GROWING FOR HUSKY’S 144-CAVITY MICROPITCH™ MOLD

HUSKY HELPS FIJI WATER INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY

Husky’s Systems Group was a key player in the creation of the Fiji Water plant from the outset. Not only did the Systems Group undertake the factory planning and design of the injection molding and bottling plant, it also oversaw the construction and commissioning of the factory itself.

The three-day conference, to be held from May 22-24 at the Wyndham Bristol Place Hotel in Toronto, will feature the latest developments in Thixomolding technologies, including products and process applications relating to the automotive and consumer electronic industries.

HUSKY TO SUPPORT FORMER ZYGO CUSTOMERS

144-CAVITY MICROPITCH™ MOLD UP AND RUNNING
Bolton, Ontario, Canada — Husky Injection Molding Systems’ new 144-cavity Micropitch preform mold is now in full production at Southeastern Container’s Enka, N.C. facility. According to Southeastern the mold is meeting or exceeding targets for cycle time, preform quality and acetaldehyde (AA) levels. Several other customers have also placed orders for the new molds including some repeat orders.
