The new group was formed through a merger of Robotics and Systems Integration. “We have been providing system solutions to our customers for 25 years,” says Bruce Catoen, Vice-President of this new team. “In that time we have developed a reputation as innovators in the injection molding industry.” The continued development of this business is a key initiative for Husky going forward.

144-CAVITY MICROPITCH™ MOLD UP AND RUNNING

144-CAVITY MICROPITCH™ Bolton, Ontario, Canada — Husky Injection Molding Systems’ new 144-cavity Micropitch preform mold is now in full production at Southeastern Container’s Enka, N.C. facility. According to Southeastern the mold is meeting or exceeding targets for cycle time, preform quality and acetaldehyde (AA) levels. Several other customers have also placed orders for the new molds including some repeat orders.
