Husky Luxembourg to host open house

Husky to demonstrate multi-mold carrier technology

Dudelange, Luxembourg—Husky Injection Molding Systems will host two open house events at its Luxembourg campus in April. A German-speaking session will be held April 15th, followed by an English-speaking event April 23rd.

The purpose of the open houses are to demonstrate Husky's multi-mold carrier technology and its use on large tonnage Hylectric and Quadloc machines. "Multi-mold carriers allow for the simultaneous operation of two standard, single-face molds in a stack configuration. The productivity achieved is roughly equivalent to that of two individual machines running single molds," says Karl-Heinz Hoefert, Sales Manager, Husky Luxembourg. Multi-mold carriers also provide a reduction in floorspace, energy requirements and capital costs. No special molds are required for a multi-mold carrier system.

The open house events will include a series of technical presentations and machine demonstrations designed to showcase Husky's multi-mold carrier solutions. Among the machines on display will be a 2350 tonne Quadloc system simultaneously running two laundry basket molds. Tours of the entire Husky campus will also take place, including a first-ever look at Husky's recently expanded machine building. Participants will have the chance to talk about their own applications with Husky machine, automation and hot runner experts during open forum discussions, or one on one.
