ReVital Polymers, Pyrowave and INEOS Styrolution partner to launch closed-loop North American polystyrene recycling consortium
Today at the G7 Ministerial Meeting on Working Together on Climate Change, Oceans and Clean Energy, three industry leaders involved with post-consumer packaging recovery – ReVital Polymers, Pyrowave and INEOS Styrolution – announced a strategic partnership to recycle polystyrene packaging collected in consumer curbside and depot recycling systems as well as other sources such as restaurants, offices, schools and universities.

INEOS Styrolution announces agreement to acquire two polystyrene production sites in China from Total S.A.
INEOS Styrolution, the global leader in styrenics, announced today that it signed an acquisition agreement with Total S.A. for two polystyrene (PS) production sites in China. The deal includes the purchase of the wholly owned Chinese PS business including two production sites in Ningbo and Foshan and two related offices in Guangzhou and Shanghai.

INEOS Styrolution raises the bar in food contact safety by achieving Chinese national GB standards compliance for its Luran® grades
INEOS Styrolution, the global leader in styrenics, announces today that two of its Luran grades, Luran SAN C 552495 and Luran SAN C NR, are in compliance with GB 4806.6-2016 (Chinese National Food Safety Standard on Food-Contact Use of Plastic Resins), the additives used are cleared under GB 9685-2016 (Chinese National Food Safety Standard on Use of Additives in Food Contact Materials and Articles). These grades are also compliant with USA Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and European Union (EU) food contact regulations.

Agilyx Corporation and INEOS Styrolution sign MOU to advance the circularity of polystyrene
Agilyx Corporation and INEOS Styrolution have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for deploying Agilyx’s de-polymerisation technology at or near to an INEOS Styrolution facility in North America. The aim is to convert post-consumer polystyrene waste into styrene monomer that can be used to re-manufacture new polystyrene products.
