马勒扩张其在中国的气门驱动业务
上海，2007年4月－马勒于2007年1月16日在中国，麻城，盛大召开了其新公司马勒三环气门驱动(湖北)有限公司的开张仪式。这个合资企业的谈判结束于2006年底。籍此，马勒增强了其在中国-这个目前汽车行业目前最大的增长市场上的地位。
马勒持有合资企业60％的股份。湖北三环有限公司持有40％的股份。
在发动机气门产品方面，马勒在产品开发、毛坯件生产、机加工、表面处理、自动检验技术以及其他领域拥有出色的专业知识，而湖北三环则在本地管理方面建立和积累了多年的有效经验。合资企业将有能力生产各种用于轿车和卡车发动机的发动机气门机组。在马勒全球销售网络的支持下，马勒三环气门驱动将在中国及其他国家的市场上推出主流和高端产品。
目前马勒三环气门驱动现有大约1，600名员工，每年生产二千万个发动机气门。合资企业计划将于2007年引进新的生产技术。
马勒三环气门驱动是马勒集团在中国的第8家生产工厂。去年4月，马勒在上海又开设了一个常规开发中心，负责中国的所有活动。在马勒集团所属的发动机气门产品组而言，这家中国新工厂是除了原有位于德国、波兰和意大利的三家工厂之外的第四家生产工厂。“随着中国新工厂的设立，我们弥合了我们在发动机气门产品供应方面的战略鸿沟，因为我们的全球客户不仅仅希望在欧洲交货，同时也希望在全球其他重点市场区域交货”，马勒集团董事会主席Heinz K. Junker教授博士在提及收购一事时给出了这样的评论。
